Song of the Lioness: In the Hand of the Goddess by Tamora Pierce

So Alanna is growing up.  She’s no longer the little girl pretending to be a boy so she can attend lessons to become a knight of the realm, she’s a young woman pretending to be a boy so she can finish her training to become a knight of the realm.  XD

Still enjoying this series ever so much.  It’s a short read, but so wonderfully vibrant that it’s one of those beautiful books that plays as a movie in my head.  Alanna is my hero.

…And I kind’ve love Jon and George in this book.  George gains more points from me this time around though.  He just works better in my brain now that I’m not all young and googly over Jon.  (Don’t blame me, royalty in my fantasy novels is one of my fangirl buttons.)

Image stuck in my head: George struck speachless when he and Jon walk into Mistress Coopers to find Alanna already there.
